The dazzling song and dance extravaganza THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT! will complete a UK tour this year, with special guest stars. Each venue will feature a very special guest alongside the cast of West End singers and dancers. Guests include the award-winning Ruthie Henshall, one of the biggest stars of musical theatre; performer and entertainer Jane McDonald; and The Overtones, the UK's number one vocal harmony group.
Henshall, whose multi-award winning career has seen her star in some of the most successful musicals of the past three decades, is a major coup for the show's producers, David King for Spirit Productions Worldwide Ltd. She has been nominated for an Olivier Award four times as a musical theatre artist, and has played the lead role in many of the most highly-acclaimed, long-running and award-winning musicals in the West End and on Broadway of the last 30 years. Henshall is also in high demand as a concert performer, touring and performing extensively in the UK, the USA and Australia.
McDonald, a singer, presenter and entertainer, sprang to fame after starring in the television documentary series, The Cruise. Since then she has received rave reviews and standing ovations for her lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, and has achieved platinum status with her first number one album. Her live concerts have sold out at numerous venues across the UK including London’s Royal Albert Hall and McDonald was a panelist on the highly popular UK ITV1 Daytime Show, Loose Women, for 10 years.
Delighting audiences all over the country, THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT! will celebrate the biggest hits of the 1940s and 50s, including music by Lerner and Loewe, Rodgers and Hammerstein, as well as Irving Berlin and Cole Porter. With glorious costumes, sumptuous music, stunning dance routines and an award-winning cast of singers and dancers, this will wow the audience!
