The schools are unique and will bring something different. The Royal Ballet School is one of the world’s greatest centres of classical ballet training which for generations has produced dancers and choreographers of international recognition. It's mission is to train and educate, and in doing so to set standards in dance training.
English National Ballet School was founded in 1988 by English National Ballet to provide talented young dancers with the highest quality of training. Today the School still shares the company's commitment to quality, accessibility and diversity. Currently a third of the dancers at English National Ballet are graduates of the School.
Central School of Ballet was founded 31 years ago and is one of the UK’s leading centres for dance training. Central’s ethos is the belief that talented, dedicated young people should have access to high quality training, whatever their background, and it has one of the highest rates of employment for graduating students.
Elmhurst School for Dance is the oldest vocational dance school in the UK – its vision is to provide a world renowned centre of excellence for the training and education of dancers for Birmingham Royal Ballet and other dance companies. Elmhurst fills the void in vocational dance training in the Midlands.
