2013 will see the event take place at Kensington's Olympia on 8-10 March. Visitors will be able to watch performances in the showcase theatre and on the main stage - featuring performances from dance stars, vocational colleges and youth dance companies. Take part in one of the many classes, bust a move on the the freestyle stage, shop for dance wear, meet dance idols such as Darcey Bussell on the interview sofa and talk to dance experts for advice on careers, funding, applying for dance and drama courses and colleges, and auditioning for dance roles and performances.
MOVE IT is always a fantastic place to try new dance styles or classes, and 2013 is no different offering a huge variety of over 200 classes and taster sessions. Dance teachers from all over the country will be covering every style and technique from Ballet to Lindy Hop, Krump to Ballroom and every dancer of every ability is able to have a go at this fantastic event. Dancers will also have the chance to learn a routine from A Chorus Line, new to the West End in 2013 and hone their skills as a dazzling performer ready to take to the stage. For those wishing to uncover a slightly more subdued if not equally satisfying career in dance, the CDET are presenting a new series of dance classes and interviews which will offer advice and guidance for anyone thinking of working in the dance industry.
