Pier Head Dance Festival Attracts International Dancers

The 2 day Pier Head dance festival took place last week by the River Mersey in Liverpool and attracted a broad range dance acts and spectators alike. The festival showcased creative dance in its almost infinite diversity and saw members of the city's Chinese community take to the stage,as well as a number of other acts.

The idea of this event was to showcase the city's waterfront and the development that has taken place in that particular area. However, all eyes were on the acts, rather than their backdrop, particularly when an Argentine aerial dance act took their turn to wow the crowds.

Dance is one of the most diverse activities you can possibly watch or take part in and this was highlighted once again with the festival in Liverpool. Whether it's aerial dance, jazz dance, tap or pole dancing, the diverse nature of dance is what makes it truly an activity for absolutely everybody.

Is it really any wonder then, that so many Brits are donning their dance shoes and getting moving??
