And there's a reason for it too! An hour of an up tempo dance style can burn off 300 calories as well as work your muscles, thus burn fat! It's for this reason that the health authorities here in the UK have been encouraging us to get our dance shoes on and get moving! As a nation struggling with something of an obesity epidemic, getting everyone moving is imperative! And dance is certainly a great way to do it!

Professional dancers will know the energy it takes already! But first time dancers might be surprised to find out just how active dance will actually get them - yet is completely enjoyable at the same time.
